Bonita Kay Summers was invited to be a mentor for cohort one of LD-ACE because several students in this cohort had entrepreneurial dreams that resembled her career. With a rich and varied background as an editor for a national business magazine, an administrator at Queen's University, and experience in software development, journalism, and freelance writing, Bonita had an extensive depth of knowledge to share. She also was a part-time psychic coach until pursuing that career full-time in 2007. All of this helped her provide valuable support to the students in trusting themselves and their vision while guiding them to work through any personal or professional obstacles. Through her role as a mentor, Bonita discovered that a holistic approach worked best in supporting the students in any way possible.
